Simon has practiced in criminal defence for almost 20 years across South Yorkshire and the East Midlands and joined Best Solicitors in September 2022.

He has extensive experience in representing clients who are under investigation at the Police Station and prosecuted before the Magistrates Court. Simon’s experience and areas of practice range from public order and dishonesty offences through to murder, as well as historic and complex crime. Simon also has experience in representing people who face Road Traffic Offences and understands how important it is for people to be able to retain their driving licence when at risk of disqualification.

Until September 2022, Simon had served as the leader of a local authority for over 10 years, representing the authority at a local, regional, and national level with a focus on regeneration, inward investment, housing, and job creation.
