Mohammed Zulfiqar joined Best Solicitors in April 2025 as part of our expanding Criminal Defence team. He studied law at the University of Huddersfield and qualified as a solicitor in 2020. After beginning his legal career in personal injury, Mo transitioned into criminal defence, where he has developed a calm, client-focused approach.

Mo regularly advises and represents clients during police investigations and appears frequently before the Magistrates’ Court. His caseload includes a wide range of offences, from public order and driving matters to more serious and complex cases such as violent and drug-related crime. He is known for his clear, reassuring manner and his ability to guide clients through difficult and often stressful proceedings.

Outside of work, Mo enjoys spending time with his young family and is a dedicated cricket enthusiast. As a keen wicket keeper, he brings the same focus and reliability to the game as he does to his legal work.
