Remortgage
Buying or selling a new property comes with excitement and optimism. At Best Solicitors, we commit to managing your purchase or sale with equal positivity. To demonstrate our exceptional level of service, we’re proud to have been one of the first solicitors accepted onto The Law Society Conveyancing Quality Scheme – which required us to undergo strict assessments and meet the highest, most demanding standards. For you, this means expertise, efficiency and reliability should be your minimum expectation when appointing us as your conveyancing solicitor.
Remortgage
Remortgaging is when you change the terms of the mortgage on your property. Here are the steps we go through as part of our conveyancing service.
Here at Best Solicitors, we can help you remortgage your property simply, and stree-free, with specialist conveyancers ready to help you now.
1. Analysing Documents & New Offer
Before choosing a completion date, your existing mortgage lender will provide us with the title deeds and a mortgage redemption statement.
Next, we will review the new mortgage offer you have been given. If searches are necessary we will complete them. Once all of the documentation has been thoroughly inspected, and you are satisfied, we will discuss a completion date.
2. Completion of Remortgage
The funds will be transferred to us from your new mortgage lender, which will allow us to pay any outstanding balance you have with your previous mortgage lender. We take care of registering the new mortgage at the Land Registry.
In order to ensure a remortgage runs without hassle, there are several legal tasks that must be completed by our solicitors that we will not go into here. This is a simple run-down of conveyance to help you understand the key points of the process.
