How Long Do I Have to Make a Claim?

You only have 3 years from the date of the accident or from the age of 18 if in the case of an accident involving a child to make a claim – see Child Care section below. In some circumstances the 3 years may run from when you became aware of the injury and/or the identity of the Defendant if unknown at the time of the accident.

There are also shorter time limits for some types of accident such as where an injury has occurred on a boat, on an aircraft or when abroad and so it is very important to contact us as soon as possible after any accident.

How Will I Fund My Claim?

We offer “no win no fee” funding for personal injury claims. This means that you will not have to pay our legal fees out of your own pocket. Qualified one cost shifting (“QOCS), where you will not pay the defendant’s costs, as long as the exceptions do not apply.
