Vanessa Saxton is the Director of our Criminal Defence Department, specialising in both Criminal Law and Mental Health Law.

With many years of experience, she has developed a strong reputation for her commitment to justice, meticulous case preparation, and unwavering support for her clients. Vanessa is known for her ability to handle complex and sensitive matters with professionalism and care.

She is a qualified Higher Courts Advocate, allowing her to represent clients at the highest levels. She regularly appears before the Crown Court, Court of Appeal, Mental Health (First Tier) Tribunal, Upper Tribunal, and County Court.
