Celebrating 20 Years of Dedication: Amanda and Stacey Mark Two Decades at Best Solicitors

This July, we are delighted to celebrate an incredible milestone as two valued members of the Best Solicitors team, Amanda and Stacey, mark 20 years with the firm.

Reaching two decades with the same employer is a remarkable achievement and reflects not only dedication and loyalty, but also the opportunities that can come from building a long-term career within a supportive workplace.

Our CEO, Donna, said:

They have both been part of our journey for so many years and have played an important role in the success of the firm. Their commitment, professionalism and willingness to support both colleagues and clients every day is exactly what Best Solicitors is all about. We are so grateful for everything they have contributed over the past two decades, and I hope they are as proud of this milestone as we are.”

Stacey joined Best Solicitors in July 2006 as an Office Junior at just 16 years old, only a couple of weeks after finishing her GCSEs. While many of her friends were heading to college, Stacey was eager to begin her career in the workplace.

In her first role, Stacey carried out a variety of office duties while gaining valuable insight into the legal profession. She was given opportunities to attend court alongside Counsel and quickly developed a passion for the industry. With the support of the firm, Stacey attended college and completed relevant training, helping her build the knowledge and experience that would shape her career.

Over the years, Stacey has worked across different areas of the business, gaining a wealth of experience before moving into her current role as a Conveyancing Assistant based at our Barnsley office. Her willingness to embrace new opportunities and continue developing her skills is a fantastic example of how careers can evolve over time.

Reflecting on her milestone, Stacey said:

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 20 years already. I’ve made so many great memories, worked with some fantastic people and learned so much along the way. Best has supported me throughout my career, and I’m grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had over the years.”

Amanda also joined Best Solicitors in July 2006, beginning her journey as a Conveyancing Assistant before taking on the role of Manager of the firm’s Walk-in Centre in 2011. When the Walk-in Centre later closed, Amanda embraced a new challenge by becoming Best Solicitors’ IT Coordinator.

Today, Amanda continues to play a key role in ensuring the firm’s technology supports both colleagues and clients, helping systems run efficiently while always looking for new ways technology can improve the way we work.

Amanda said:

“Every day is different, which is one of the things I enjoy most about my role. Technology is always changing, and I enjoy finding new ways to help the business and support my colleagues. Looking back over the last 20 years, it’s amazing to see how much the firm has grown, and I’m proud to have been part of that journey.”

Amanda and Stacey have both witnessed the firm grow and evolve over the past two decades, and throughout that time they have remained committed, adaptable and dedicated members of the Best Solicitors family.
